Pudding Pops

What ever happened to Jell-O Pudding Pops?

Here is another great recipe from Gifts A GoGo.  Back in the 1980’s I remember coming home from school and running to the freezer to see if there were any Pudding Pops left.  I loved these and have no idea why they stopped making them, so I decided to make my own version.  I must say, they turned out pretty good.  I used one percent milk, trying to diet, but I am sure they would be even better with whole milk.   Another thing I enjoyed in the 1980s was wine coolers.  Remember those?  Sorry, no recipe for that one.  Enjoy the pudding pops!

  • Pudding Pops
    • 1 Large Box Chocolate Cook & Serve Pudding (5.1oz)
    • 3 Cups Cold Milk
    • 1 Cup thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping
    • Popsicle Sticks
    • Small Dixie or Paper Cups

Cook pudding according to directions on package.  Cool slightly (about 10 minutes) and add whipped topping. Let pudding cook some more, about five minutes and pour into cups. Then insert popsicle sticks. Place in freezer until firm and enjoy!
